Flecking Records MCFLY TO COMEBACK AS SUPERHEROES?McFly are releasing, what appear to be, a series of teaser posters – but what could they mean?
We have seen two of the posters so far, one from Tom Fletcher (left) and one from Harry Judd.
At a glance, you could easily mistake them for movie posters, so perhaps they are for the new music video.
We started thinking yesterday when Tom tweeted the first poster – a shield / symbol looking shape on a cloudy background. Then we remembered a series of photos of the boys from a little while back, all looking pretty badass in strange clothing with funky shades and make-up. So when Harry posted his poster today with a different shield – it all feels a bit ‘Power Rangers’ to us.
Of course, this is all speculation. Superheroes don’t usually have much to do with party girls (the new single has been confirmed as Party Girl).
We’ll just have to wait and see what Dougie Poynter and Danny Jones post – and then for the single and album release in early September.

Flecking RecordsARE MCFLY FANS GROWING TIRED?At first all the secret projects were intriguing, but are fans growing tired of the secrecy surrounding McFly?
Based on what we’ve seen, the fans seem divided. Some may be just as excited as they have always been, but some are sick and tired of what they consider to be ‘teasing’.
‘I’m not saying I want to hear the new music right now,’ one fan explained, ‘but I’m losing interest in the “secret projects”.’
‘We only know the name of the single because someone else told us.’
Another fan said to us: ‘It wouldn’t be so bad if Tom didn’t keep teasing us!’ referring to the cryptic tweets Tom Fletcher often posts.
It was only tonight Tom tweeted: ‘…if you’re lucky there might be something else tomorrow…’after uploading a poster of, well, something exciting looking (left).
This comes after days worth of tweets about a video shoot – thought to be a new music video, however this hasn’t been confirmed, and Dougie Poynter’s pictures of his secret project – thought to be a clothing line, although this hasn’t been confirmed either.
Of course not all fans feel this way, with one telling us: ‘I will wait as long as it takes, and I find the Twitter posts exciting!’.
We don’t think the boys are intentionally trying to tease the fans, they’re probably just trying to get them excited to hear the new music that they have worked so hard on. There are people out there who don’t like surprises though…
Leave us a comment and let us know what you think.

Wigan TodayMcFly rock HaighMCFLY kicked off the Wigan Life Tuned-In Concerts in spectacular fashion last night.
Fans of the chart topping pop rockers from across the borough, across the country and even across the world came to Wigan’s Haigh Hall country park to watch the lads play a set featuring the biggest hits from their vast back catalogue.
Some fans had even gone as far as camping overnight at Haigh Hall to make sure they were the first ones at the gates of the concert site, which opened at 6pm.
In the afternoon there had been huge traffic delays around the venue.
A spokesman for Wigan Leisure and Culture Trust, the organisers of the concerts, said: “This concert series marks a fantastic opportunity for the people of Wigan and Leigh to celebrate and appreciate a wide variety of musical talent.
“This is a fantastic venue and for this series of gigs we have secured some fantastic acts.
“We would urge the people of Wigan and Leigh not to miss out and come down and enjoy the party.”
Singer and guitarist Tom Fletcher told the crowd: “This is our first show of 2010 and the last one we’ll be playing with our current setlist.
“You guys are the last ones to see and hear it.”
It is believed between 2,500 and 3,000 people attended the opening night of the series, which continues tonight with Alesha Dixon and N-Dubz.Sjekk ut bildene her:
